The City Council of Cudillero and Asturagua bet on the environment with the implementation of the Paperless Billing
With this new service, you can avoid the emission of approximately 1.17 tonnes of CO2 to the atmosphere and save 12,135 liters of water per year
Asturagua, as the company responsible for water management in the municipality, has very present in all his actions the need to respect and care for nature and the environment. That's why, among its priority objectives are to get the minimum possible environmental impact, make a rational and sustainable use of water resources available, and to promote among the citizens of concern and commitment to the environment and respect for nature. For this reason, the Town Hall of Cudillero and Asturagua have decided to launch the Paperless Billing, a free service through which citizens will be able to receive the bill in electronic format rather than on paper.
With this small gesture, all who wish to contribute to the care of the environment by reducing the carbon footprint and the water footprint derived from the issuance on paper bills from Asturagua. If all customers will opt for the electronic bill, a year would emit approximately 1, 17 tons of CO2 to the atmosphere, and it would save 12,135 liters of water and 774 kg of wood.
In addition to the environmental benefits, the digital bill provides other advantages:
- Speed: users receive the invoice at the same time of issuance
- Convenience: you can see from where they want, when they want.
- Security: only the client receives the personal data and consumption in your email.
In the next few days of service users will receive a letter to accede to this modality of invoice, unless you prefer to continue receiving it on paper in which case they should notify the sending an email to the address Mifacturaonline@asturagua.es, by calling the toll-free telephone number 900 330 019, available Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 21:00 hours, or in the office of Asturagua located in the C/ Suarez Inclan, No. 16 (customer service hours from monday to friday from 10:00 to 13:00 hours).
Customers who have not yet communicated their email or mobile phone number to Asturagua and wish to register in this service can do so through the virtual office of the company https://www.asturagua.es/en/paperless-billing
The money saved with this initiative will help to pay water bills to customers who are in a situation of social vulnerability.
