Asturagua imparts the talk 'The water closer to you' on the occasion of the World Day of Social Justice

The Director of Asturagua Clients, Raquel Mendez, explained the low reclaimed lands available in Llanes and the payment facilities offered by the municipal water service in order to help the most vulnerable citizens.

On the occasion of the celebration of the World Day of Social Justice, yesterday, 20 February, Asturagua in collaboration with the Council of Llanes gave a lecture at the Casa de Cultura de Llanes with the aim of informing the citizens of the municipality of social commitment of the company.

Under the title 'The water closer to you', the Director of Asturagua Clients, Raquel Mendez, explained the low reclaimed lands available in Llanes and the payment facilities offered by the municipal water service in order to help the most vulnerable citizens.

From the company also invited all users to request the invoice without paper, a service completely free, safe and comfortable through which citizens receive their water bills in electronic format rather than on paper, thus contributing to caring for the environment by reducing the carbon footprint and the water footprint derived from the issuance on paper invoices from Asturagua. In addition, the savings generated by this initiative will go toward the creation of a Social Fund for the payment of water bills of those users of the service that are in a situation of vulnerability.

In the talk were also involved the Head of Asturagua, Susana Jódar, and the Councillor for Environment and works, Juan Carlos Armas.
